Half day trips typically go from 6am to 11am and 12pm to 5pm. Giving you a solid 3-4 hours of fishing time and 30 minutes of travel time to and from the fishing grounds. During our half day trips our boats will have time to target one maybe two species. Some of these inshore species include striped bass, bluefish, blackfish, sea bass, porgies and fluke. Aboard all our vessels, all the bait, fuel, tackle, ice and fishing licenses are included in the cost of the trip and any fish caught that is of keeper size will be cleaned by the crew and packaged for you to take home at the end of your trip. Half day trips are great for groups with kids, beginners and/or people who have other plans made during the day and are just looking to spend a few hours on the water or are not early risers and just want to spend the afternoon on the water.

Full Day Inshore trips typically go from 6am to 3-4 pm. Giving you a solid 7-8 hours on the water. During our full day inshore trips, our boats will have time to target multiple inshore species and fish different areas. These inshore species include striped bass, bluefish, blackfish, sea bass, porgies and fluke. Aboard all our vessels, all the bait, fuel, tackle, ice and fishing licenses are included in the cost of the trip and any fish caught that is of keeper size will be cleaned by the crew and packaged for you to take home at the end of your trip. Full Day Inshore trips are great for groups who want to spend a whole day on the water and target multiple species and/or try different fishing methods for certain species.

Twilight fishing trips usually start around 4:30-5pm and return to the dock around 9 pm. Our night time trips usually vary in start time depending on the phase of the tide and fishing conditions. During our twilight/night fishing trips, our boats typically target striped bass & bluefish. Aboard all our vessels, all the bait, fuel, tackle, ice and fishing licenses are included in the cost of the trip and any fish caught that is of keeper size will be cleaned by the crew and packaged for you to take home at the end of your trip. Twilight/night fishing trips are great for groups who want to enjoy some excellent Montauk magic hour fishing for striped bass and bluefish while at the same time enjoying a nice sunset on the water, making for some great photo opportunities of the Montauk Lighthouse.

Full Day Offshore Tuna trips vary in start time depending on the boat. Depending on the type of tuna, it may take an hour to reach the fishing grounds or it may take 3-4 hours to reach the tuna grounds. Out of Montauk, we typically fish for bluefin tuna, yellowfin tuna, bigeye tuna and longfin tuna and typically we either catch them trolling or chunking. Depending on the time of the year, it is not uncommon to catch mahi mahi, white marlin, blue marlin and swordfish while tuna fishing. Aboard all our vessels, all the bait, fuel, tackle, ice and fishing licenses are included in the cost of the trip and any fish caught that is of keeper size will be cleaned by the crew and packaged for you to take home at the end of your trip. Tuna trips are great for crews who have had some experience on the water and are looking to spend a full day and then some on the water. Tuna trips start early in the morning and don’t get back till late evening sometimes depending on how far offshore the fish are.

Two Day Offshore Tuna Trips are a great way to maximize your fishing time especially when the tuna are way offshore. Depending on the type of tuna, it may take an hour to reach the fishing grounds or it may take 3-4 hours to reach the tuna grounds. So when the tuna are 3-4 hours offshore and it is gonna take 7-8 hours round trip to get to and from the fishing grounds, a two day trip allows for a lot more time on the fishing grounds. Out of Montauk, we typically fish for bluefin tuna, yellowfin tuna, bigeye tuna and longfin tuna and typically we either catch them trolling or chunking. Montauk is home to some of the greatest shark fishing in the world! After all “Jaws” and it’s main character “Quint” is said to be based on Montauk’s very own “Monster Man” Frank Mundus and catches like his 3,427 Great White Shark that he landed in Montauk in August 7, 1986. Full Day Offshore Shark trips typically start around 5:30-6AM and end around 4-5PM that same day. It typically takes an hour or so to get to the fishing grounds. Once set up and fishing, there is a wide variety of sharks which inhabit the waters off Montauk including Great Whites, Makos, Threshers, Blue sharks, Hammerheads, Brown sharks, Bull Sharks, Tiger Sharks, Etc. Shark fishing is great for crews which want to spend a full day on the water and are hoping to do battle with a fish that is bigger than they are!
